Programs

This program was launched in partnership with UNICEF and presence of Dr. Ayman Abu Laban UNICEF Area representative. The aim of this program is to teach child rights(Child Rights Convention) to children.

The program comes in different phases.

Phase 1 includes:

• "Naser Bravery" an illustrated story for children about their rights and how it can protect them.

 

• A train the trainer manual has been developed to train the childres' trainers on how to deliver child rights to children, and how to empower children  to respect other people's rights while understanding their own rights. Be-Free has developed the easy to use manual for trainers to deliver these concepts in a fun and practical way.
  The manual was tested and modified before launching it. The manual is in Arabic and for children in Grades 4 - 6.

 

• A song for children "Its my right to understand my rights"

 

• Raising awareness of parents and caregivers about child rights, and its application in day to day decisions.

 

• Raising community awareness about child rights through media (TV, Radio, Newspapers, ..)
